TLS proudly introduces the limited-edition TLS Prometheus 55mm T1.5 — a collaboration with Egor Povolotskiy, an iconic lens from the 1970s that has been meticulously re-engineered by TLS. This lens is a true artist’s brush, capable of creating a wide variety of cinematic looks.

The TLS Prometheus delivers creamy, glowing halation wide open, which beautifully cleans up when stopped down to T2. Its organic fall-off, distinctive bokeh, and insane flare behaviour give your footage a signature aesthetic only this lens can deliver. The flare shape and colour subtly shift as you close the aperture, making it an extraordinary creative tool.

What sets TLS apart is our dedication to preserving the original optical characteristics of the lens. Every TLS Prometheus is individually worked on by highly skilled technicians to maintain the lens’s vintage magic — a standard of precision and craftsmanship that TLS proudly upholds.

Despite its vintage optical character, the lens delivers sharpness and controlled softness even when stopped down. It fully covers full-frame sensors with an image circle of 51mm+, while remaining compact and practical. Featuring a 95mm front diameter, 17-inch close focus distance, and floating elements on variable cams, the TLS Prometheus is versatile on set while retaining its classic vintage charm.
