COVID-19 UPDATE

With the growing global concerns over COVID-19, TLS would like to assure its clients that the company remains fully open and is grateful to report that recent events have had no impact on our capacity to deliver on orders.

TLS will no longer be exhibiting at NAB Show in April, following the news of its cancellation earlier this month. We support the decision of the organisers and will continue to closely monitor the situation regarding all future trade shows at which TLS was due to exhibit, including CineGear Expo in June and IBC in September.

The health and safety of our employees, clients and visitors remains our number one priority, so we have made some important adjustments to our operation to do our part in reducing the spread of the virus, following advice from the UK government and the World Health Organisation:

  • TLS has taken the decision to monitor and restrict all visitors to our Barwell operation. Until further notice, only essential visitors will be permitted entry to the building with the prior authorisation of senior management. Any visitors will be expected to answer questions about recent travel and wash their hands upon arrival. If your visit to TLS is not essential, we will be happy to postpone this to a later date.

  • Only deliveries are permitted. Clients or couriers who are making drop offs will not be permitted to enter the building. All deliveries must be accepted and signed for at the door. 

  • For the time being, all meetings with those outside of the company should be held via virtual communications (phone or video conferencing) where possible.

  • Any TLS employees who are travelling for business or personal reasons will be closely monitored and will be asked to self-isolate if required. This applies to both UK and international travel.

  • Operationally, TLS are monitoring the location of all lenses being sent to them. Any lenses arriving from a heavily affected area will be quarantined for a minimum of 4 days as per health and safety guidelines.
