All glass elements should be looked after and cared for. No camera operator wants unnecessary flaring or anomalies that would detract from capturing their footage. Smooth lens operation of all mechanical parts is imperative to maintain an uninterrupted flow from acquisition to final edit. A regular service or repair of damaged and worn units caused by arduous use will restore top optical performance, giving you confidence in precise broadcastable images.
